Ben  is an artist and designer originally from London, now based in East Sussex. Working across a range of mediums and materials, including cast stone, paper pulp and sound, his work explores ideas of materiality, transformation and memory. Employing iterative cycles of making and unmaking, collected materials are reconfigured to form new shapes, narratives, and feeling for a world in constant flux.

Ben is a member of the Royal Society of Sculptors. His work has been exhibited internationally and can be found in collections including the Tate Artists Book Archives. In September 2025 he will be an artist in residence at the Sono-Electro festival in St Leonards, developing a new installation and series of public workshops.

In 2024 he formed the Spectral Transmissions Research Unit with long time associate Luke Pendrell. For the last year they have produced a monthly audio collage for Resonance Extra and will be participating in this years Radiophrenia festival.

In addition to his artistic practice Ben has taught extensively in creative education with roles at the University Arts London and most recently at the Royal College of Art.
